What does the Seinfeld Scholarship cover?
Students can go to the college or university of their choice. Recipients attend schools across the country.

The Seinfeld Scholarship covers up to $10,000 in tuition, room and board, fees, books, transportation and personal expenses up to four years. Activities and events are planned throughout the year and all Seinfeld Scholars are encouraged to participate.

Who can apply to the Seinfeld Scholarship?
The Seinfeld Scholarship is open to seniors graduating from New York City Public Schools. Please see the "How to Apply" section for more information and criteria.

What is expected from the Seinfeld Scholars?
All Seinfeld Scholars are expected to stay in good academic standing with their college or university. They are also expected to turn in all required scholarship paper work in a timely manner.

What is PENCIL?
PENCIL (Public Education Needs Civic Involvement in Learning) was founded in 1995 to galvanize and coordinate meaningful civic involvement in New York City public education to improve student achievement. PENCIL is a key partner during the application and interview process.
